mom always said "the farmers need it" when we complained about rain in kansas.
and now here i am, going "yay! rain!" after a week of glorious weather. i don't even mind closing the windows again.
it's an auspicious beginning for the new era.
Today--1-27-09 it's snowing, sleeting, and freezing cold.
There's a connection when all of these ingredients collide. They produce weather worse than freezing cold. Elements that should only be viewed from the inside by someone like me.
For the first few hours I kept saying, "Isn't it beautiful outside!" Screw that! The weather fools are announcing two or three more days of this mess. "Isn't it something?"
